What is a CIGAVETTE cartridge or Cartomizer?

CIGAVETTE cartridges (sometimes referred to as a cartomizer) are a combination of a stainless steel case, atomizer, 'Smart Chip' microprocessor, and nicotine mixture in one unit. CIGAVETTE cartridges are designed to offer the best possible user experience. Because they are one unit and are disposable, the flavors are optimized to the device to alleviate problems with atomizers and vapor consistency.

How Long Do CIGAVETTE cartridges Last?

The total amount of puffs in each cartridge is calculated based on the industry standard of a 2 second puff, with a 2 second interval. 10-12 puffs (based on the industry standard for a puff) would be equivalent to the nicotine content in one tobacco cigarette. Exactly how long a cartridge will last can vary greatly from user to user based on the duration of each puff, proper use, and maintenance of each cartridge. Keeping your batteries fully charged will also maximize the strength and vapor of your cartridges. A clear sign your cartridge needs to be replaced is the flavor will start to diminish (if there is a burnt taste immediately stop using, and replace the cartridge), and much less vapor will be produced – both of these signs indicate that the cartridge needs to be changed. Leaving the cartridge attached to the battery while not in use can and will reduce the life of the cartridge. Ultimately how long a CIGAVETTE cartridge lasts depends on following the instructions for proper usage.

Note: Each CIGAVETTE cartridge has "Smart Chip" technology which among other things can tell us how many times the cartridge has been activated (number of puffs), and the duration of each activation (length of each puff) when tested.

How do I get the most from my CIGAVETTE cartridges?

Fully charged batteries will give you the maximize strength and vapor from your cartridges. Taking consistent and equal puffs during use will enhance the life of the cartridge. When not in use remove the cartridge from the battery and store in an upright position with the mouthpiece end facing up, this will distribute the vapor mixture evenly, allowing the vapor to last longer. Leaving the Cartridge attached to the battery while not in use can and will reduce the life of the Cartridge.

Note: Each CIGAVETTE cartridge has "Smart Chip" technology which among other things can tell us how many times the Cartridge has been activated (number of puffs), and the duration of each activation (length of each puff) when tested.

What Nicotine Strength is Best for Me?

CIGAVETTE offers our users flexibility so you can adjust intake based on your nicotine preference. CIGAVETTE has a full line of safe and easy to use nicotine vapor products so you can begin use at your current strength level (or whichever strength you desire) and work your way down to Zero, if that is the intended outcome you are looking for. If you are using and/or going to use both tobacco cigarettes and CIGAVETTE (not recommended) you will need to take that into consideration when choosing the CIGAVETTE nicotine strength you start with.

If you are smoking a pack a day or more of tobacco cigarettes (for more than 1 year) we suggest starting your transition from tobacco to electronic one level higher than your current tobacco cigarette nicotine intake. i.e. If you are smoking a pack a day or more of full strength tobacco cigarettes start with CIGAVETTE Super - 24mg or Full -18mg. If you are smoking more than a pack a day of light tobacco cigarettes start with CIGAVETTE Full - 18mg. If you are smoking less than a pack a day of lights start with CIGAVETTE Light - 12mg. Remember you can always go up or down with the nicotine cartridge strength.
